Armour Club: Verb YellowBall Grant
Armour Boys & Girls Club, in collaboration with Armour Elementary School, is creating a newsletter featuring highlights from both the school and the Club. The newsletter 'staff ' will be comprised of Club members and Club personnel. It will be called the Knightly News after the Armour School Knights. It will feature top 10 lists of music & movies; a spanglish column; top students; advice column; kids corner and much more. The entire Armour student body and staff will have the opportunity to take pride in their involvement in both settings through one source, the Knightly News.
Armour Club: Verb YellowBall Grant
The Armour Club received $500 from the Verb YellowBall Grant.
YellowBall encourages members to have fun getting and staying
active with small yellow balls. The members shared their ideas
and activities online at www.VERBnow.com and in the grant application.
Applications were judged by Kaleidoscope, and the Armour Club
was one of only 25 organizations selected to receive this grant.
