Kanoon Club: Book Club Field Trip
The Kanoon Book Club enjoyed their recent trip to DePaul’s
Merle Reskin Theatre. Club members read The BFG by Roahl Dahl
and were excited to see the live performance! The members were
thrilled to take pictures with the performers and have their books
signed by the characters. A book club activity of making fizzy
frobbscottles and whizzpoppers was inspired by the book and live
performance.
Kanoon Club: Dodgeball Tournament
The Club members and staff had a great time competing in the
2007 Dodgeball Tournament! Combined teams of six Club members
and staff practiced all week for the competition. On the day of
the tournament Club members gathered in the gym to cheer on their
favorite teams. The final game came down to the Lady Lokas and
the Crashers. After an intense game, the Crashers took the title
and trophy home! Congratulations Crashers!
